[S]ome teenage depression is caused by deeper elements than mere situations. Some people have chemical imbalances and this causes serious depression that can only be helped by seeing a doctor. The doctor can either be a psychologist or a psychiatrist. The latter will probably prescribe some sort of anti-depressant that can help alleviate the teenage depression.
