1. Pregnancy
   Pregnancy is the period of time when a fetus develops inside a woman’s uterus and ends with the birth of the infant. There are a variety of clinical laboratory tests related to pregnancy, from the time pregnancy is first considered through the initial days of the newborn’s life. Some of these tests are performed on most women at specified times throughout the pregnancy, others are ordered as needed to detect and address conditions or problems that arise during pregnancy. Some are offered to women who have increased risks because of their age or lifestyle, while others are selectively chosen based on the woman’s and her partner’s personal and family history.

Through an agreement with Yahoo! Chat, TeenHollywood.com offers live star interviews and fun chat sessions for teen fans.
4. Teen -- Parents
   Teen behavior that parents tolerate, disregard or consider acceptable differs from one family to another. Some of the differences come from the parents' own upbringing; they may have had very strict parents themselves, and the expectations of their children follow accordingly. Some behavior is considered a problem when parents feel that others are judging them for their adolescents's behavior; this leads to inconsistent responses from the parents, who may tolerate behavior at home that they would not tolerate in public.

   "Teens are digital super-connectors," said study author and EduGuide President Bryan Taylor. "Parents may feel slow compared to their teens. Yet trying to keep up with their kids puts these parents ahead of other adults."
6. Teens -- Sex
   HealthPartners discovered that teens respond better to ad campaigns that address their social concerns than they do to warnings about risks of cancer or heart disease. Armed with that knowledge, HealthPartners created a series of anti-tobacco ads, the first of which was entitled "Garbage Face." In the ad, a teenage girl smokes and then talks about her heartthrob. As the boy approaches her she says, "Hi," and he responds, "Two words: breath mint." While the girl continues to talk, her face morphs into a face of garbage. By the end of the ad, her face becomes an ashtray and viewers get the message that smoking makes your breath stink and hurts your sex appeal.
7. Jamie Lynn Spears -- Pregnancies
   Ever since Jamie Lynn Spears announced she was with child, teen pregnancy has been a hot button editorial topic, especially in the wake of the success of accidental-mom rom-coms Juno and Knocked Up. So it was only a matter of time until Caitlin Flanagan, the former New Yorker scribe who fancies herself an authority on adolescent sexuality, weighed in. Flanagan is infamous for writing a ridiculously fear-mongering screed in the Atlantic in 2006 about how America's 12-year-olds dispense blow jobs like Pez, in part because porn stars like Jenna Jameson used "abortion rhetoric" about "keeping the government out of private decisions about their own bodies" for profit.    Teen pregnancy and birth rates among all teens have declined by about one- third since the early 1990s. Even so, the Latino teen pregnancy rate is almost twice the national average and has declined about half as fast as the national rate. At present, the National Campaign estimates that 51% of Latinas get pregnant at least once by age 20 (compared to 3 in 10 nationally). In addition, a new summary analysis of existing data prepared by the National Campaign ... shows that the birth rate for Latinas aged 15-19 increased in 17 of 47 reporting states and the District of Columbia between 1990 and 2003.

10. Teen Boys -- Sex
    All healthy teen boys go through puberty, which is the time when their bodies begin to mature sexually. The years following the onset of puberty are called adolescence, a time when a teen boy's body and mind develop toward adulthood. For boys, the onset of puberty usually occurs between ages 13 and 15, depending on genetic and nutritional factors. The changes of puberty are triggered when the pituitary and hypothalamus glands, or endocrine glands, in the brain send out chemicals called hormones. These hormones trigger the production of testosterone in a teen boy's testicles, and his body begins producing sperm.
