1. Ted Raimi
   Ted Raimi is an actor and brother of director Sam Raimi. The Detroit-born Ted began acting as an extra in his elder brother's Super 8 films. His motion picture credits include most of his brother's films including The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, and Darkman as well as roles in such features as Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Lunatics: A Love Story, Skinner, Shocker, Born Yesterday and Stuart Saves his Family.
2. Ted Turner
   Media mogul-turned-environmentalist Ted Turner is getting into the solar power business. The CNN founder and former vice chairman of Time Warner (TWX) (Green Wombat's employer) has created a partnership Dome-Tech Solar, a Branchburg, New Jersey-based solar energy developer, and renamed the company DT Solar. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed and it's unclear what ownership stake and role Turner will take. Green Wombat has made inquiries and will update later today. Founded in 2003, the company builds large-scale solar panel arrays for commercial and industrial use and plans to construct solar power plants in the southwest United States. With Turner (shown at right with DT Solar executives) on board, the company says it will expand beyond the Garden State, targeting several new markets, including California.
3. Ted Nugent
   Ted Nugent is one of the more interesting characters in the media maelstrom. A hard-rocking, take-no-prisoners guitar player, Nugent first came to public attention in a minor way as the guitar player for the Amboy Dukes, which had a hit with "Journey to the Center of the Mind" in 1968. In the '70s, Nugent went solo and became one of the nation's hottest touring acts on the strength of hard-charging ditties such as "Cat Scratch Fever," and "Wango Tango."
4. Ted Danson
   Ted Danson is the prominent-jawed actor who played Sam Malone, the baseball star turned bartender on Cheers, from 1982-93. He was born in California, but grew up near Flagstaff, Arizona with Hopi and Navajo children as his friends. As a young actor, Danson did the usual auditions for commercials and soap operas, and met his first wife at one of weirdo Werner Erhard's EST seminars. Danson was "the Aramis Man" in ads, and in the mid-1970s he appeared on the daytime drama Somerset with Sigourney Weaver and JoBeth Williams. In his film debut, he portrayed a bagpipe-playing cop in The Onion Field.
5. Ted Ray
   Heading a long line of actors well known to radio and television audiences, Ted Ray finds himself in the company of two artists who have contributed to the success of his long-lived" Ray's A Laugh" radio series-Kenneth Connor and Rosalind Knight. In the numerous radio shows in which they've appeared since 1951, Connor has frequently got Ray into" hot water." But in Cany On Teacher, Ray gets his own back by producing as much trouble as Connor can cope with. Connor has appeared in all three in the Carry On series, as have Joan Sims, Hattie Jacques and Charles Hawtrey. To portray the attractive P. T. mistress in this latest romp, Joan Sims had her hair cut short and rinsed blonde, which contrasts effectively with her auburnhaired nurse in Carry On Nurse. Some women say, "change your hair colour and change your luck," but Miss Sims says, " change your hair colour and change your character."
6. Ted Demme
   A few years earlier, when Ted Demme was the director of Yo! MTV Raps and Mark Pellington was one of the show's producers, they became friends. Mark Pellington, of course, would go on from his MTV award winning days, to become the director of Arlington Road (1999) and The Mothman Prophecies (2002).
7. Ted Waitt
   Though Ted Waitt had his sights on selling PCs, that was not the business he and Hammond started in September 1985. Until the end of 1987, they called themselves the TIPC Network -- set up as a division of the company Waitt dreamed about starting, Gateway 2000. As such, they sold add-on equipment by mail to owners of PCs made by Texas Instruments. The niche seemed obvious to Waitt: the store where he and Hammond had worked sold Texas Instruments computers but didn't support them in the aftermarket, since the company did not adhere to the industry standard set by IBM. With his phone operation, run from an Iowa farm, Waitt could undercut competitors' prices significantly. Within a few months, the direct-mail venture was bringing in $100,000.

   Ted Nugent began hunting in 1953, and playing guitar in 1956. To date, he has released 29 recordings, and sold over 30 million albums.    Ted Nugent started in a local Detroit teen band, the Lourds, and formed the Amboy Dukes in 1965/66. After a few mildly successful Amboy Dukes albums, Nugent went solo in 1975. Throughout the 70's Ted released a number of chart topping albums and continued to sell out large stadiums across the globe. In the mid-80's his popularity began to dwindle so in 1990 he put his solo career on hold to become a member of the Damn Yankees. He resumed his solo career in 1995 with "Spirit of the Wild." and a succession of highly successful tours. Ted Nugent is a guitar legend!
10. Ted Nugent -- Guitarist Ted Nugent
    Origins: Hard rock guitarist Ted Nugent is a man who has a penchant for expressing strong opinions in colorful fashion. This outdoorsman, conservationist, bow hunter, Republican, Christian, gun rights advocate, anti-drug exponent, military supporter (his biography and list of affiliations expresses the essence of the man far better than we can) is notorious for the vehemence with which he expresses his views. He is not one to be shy about sharing his take on things with the media, and interviews with him make for highly entertaining
