1. Tech
   Shred-Tech is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of mobile and plant-based document destruction and recycling systems. 2. Tech -- Tech Study
   TV Land's Joy of Tech Study, fielded by Latitude Research, was a multiphase project using qualitative and quantitative techniques. Adults aged 20-60 participated in the study. The project was commissioned by TV Land, a division of Viacom Inc.'s MTV Networks (VIAB), to provide information on what motivates Boomers to use and buy various entertainment technologies. The study is part of TV Land's overall commitment to understand and superserve the Baby Boom demographic, the first generation of Americans to grow up watching television.
3. Tv Shows -- Internet Tv
   Online TV - Research shows that Boomers are heavy Internet users with more than half having high speed access at home. The Joy of Tech study found that Boomers look forward to accessing and viewing content online and tapping into the Internet as a great big library of TV programming. Over 80% of Boomers are currently watching short-form content including trailers, sports and news clips online and one-quarter are watching full length TV shows or movies.
4. Howard Rollins -- Georgia Tech
   Beginning in 1988, Rollins starred with Carroll O'Connor in the TV series, "In the Heat of the Night," which was drawn on the 1967 film starring Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger. The series was first shot in a small town in Louisiana and then in a small town in Georgia. Although Rollins had grown up in Baltimore, he often felt uneasy and isolated in the Deep South. He frequently said that when he left the set, derogatory words were used in reference to Blacks. He did not find the environment welcoming or friendly, he found the work on the series to be formulaic, and he began to indulge in cocaine and alcohol. In 1988, while filming in Louisiana, he was arrested for possession of cocaine.
5. Virginia Tech -- Acc Coach

GM CIO Ralph Syzgenda will follow later in the week as well as a conversation with Napster president Brad Duea on its new subscription plans.

   Starz Entertainment, LLC, is a premium movie service provider operating in the United States. It offers 16 movie channels including the flagship Starz(R) and Encore(R) brands with approximately 15.8 million and 28.2 million subscribers respectively. Starz Entertainment airs more than 1,000 movies per month across its pay TV channels and offers advanced services including Starz HD, Starz On Demand and Vongo(R).    Using the DivX format, Private-to-Own is giving customers the ability to download high-tech movies to their PCs, burn unlimited copies onto either DVDs or CDs and view them on consumer electronic devices such as TV-Sets, Laptops and portable DivX players. Movies can be viewed during the download process or left unattended to download and then stored on a hard drive.
