The TD Canada Trust Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup began as a community beach cleanup 11 years ago in Vancouver. The Vancouver Aquarium created the program to contribute to the International Coastal Cleanup held every September around the world. Within a few years, this cleanup initiative expanded across the country and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation became the major event sponsor, with the Vancouver Aquarium continuing to operate the program.

The TD Canada Trust Atlantic Jazz Festival operates within a remarkably unique format, differing from the typical urban modal of most other jazz festivals.
