Tanger became aware of the Blue Sky program because of challenges by Park City and Moab. Last year, the City Council of Park City voted unanimously to support renewable power by launching the Blue Sky Community Challenge.

Perhaps the most interesting period in Tanger's history came before full sovereignty was restored and the city was reunited with Morocco in 1956. Prior to this, Tangier was an International Zone - which ensured political neutrality and commercial liberty - and ... won Tangier a reputation for being the spying and smuggling capital of the world; much spy fiction, From Russia with Love to The Bourne Ultimatum, have had Tanger as a backdrop.

With relatively cheap property and prices rising at around 10% a year, Tanger is just begining. As its profile rises, as the centre of town and the Port are transformed and as the world recognises the city that once so beguiled, demand for property for sale and rent in Tanger will significantly increase.
