With the new V4 toy, your Tamagotchi® character must be at the appropriate age to visit either the school or the kindergarten in Tamagotchi® Town. If your character is not at the right age to attend these schools, you will be invited to return again under the right age circumstances. Please see your toy instructions for details..

To visit Tamagotchi Town, you will need to have Macromedia Flash Player V.9 or higher installed on the computer you are using. This software is available for download at the Tamatown Web site.

Getting to Tamagotchi® Town and Tama & Earth Expo is easy! Go to www.tamatown.com. Using your V3, V4, or V4.5 toy, you can visit Tamagotchi® Town. Click on the link to open a new window allowing you to travel to Tamagotchi® Town. You will then be prompted to enter your Tamagotchi® Connection® toy USER NAME. Please make sure to enter your USER NAME exactly as it appears in your toy and not the name of the character.

Kids can communicate with friends using the new Tamagotchi Connection with infrared capabilities, similar to Versions 1 and 2. Store up to 45 friends' characters in the Friend List (flash memory). Visit friends, play games and give gifts to friends. Each character the player receives is based on how well Tamagotchi is cared for. Several generations can be raised in one Tamagotchi with proper care and feeding. Enhanced play value in Version 3 will be online compatibility and "The World of Tamagotchi Town" at www.tamatown.com.

You can only visit Tamagotchi Town with a Tamagotchi Connection version 3 or 4. If the version you have is older than these, you will not be able to access Tamagotchi Town.
