T-Mobile: T-Mobile Netherlands
built 136 days ago
T-Mobile Netherlands is part of T-Mobile International, one of the world’s leading companies in mobile communications. As one of Deutsche Telekom’s three strategic business units, T-Mobile concentrates on the most dynamic markets in Europe and the United States. By the end of June 2007, almost 112 million mobile customers were served by companies of the Deutsche Telekom group. And all that over a common technology platform based on GSM, the world’s most successful digital wireless standard. This ... makes T-Mobile the only mobile communications provider with a seamless transatlantic service.

In Germany, its home market, T-Mobile is the largest mobile phone operator with 32 million subscribers. T-Mobile International has a substantial presence in eleven European countries: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, the Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia and the United Kingdom as well as in the United States. Deutsche Telekom recently attempted to acquire rival mobile network operator O2, but T-Mobile was eventually acquired by Spain's Telefonica.
To make the requirements more transparent, as well as to ensure their successful execution, T-Mobile called upon Mark Koenderman, database marketing analyst, T-Mobile Netherlands, in November 2003. "The goal and deadline were clear," says Koenderman. "During my briefing, T-Mobile discussed the prospect of a dashboard solution and wanted to see initial results by January 2004."
The Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog has already been deployed at T- Mobile Germany, the largest member of the T-Mobile group. The Amdocs product supports its more than 34 million customers; T-Mobile UK will be the next to follow. This positions T-Mobile International at the vanguard of future best practices, while driving significant total cost of ownership (TCO) savings. The current initiative follows a long history of Amdocs' successful deployments at T-Mobile companies, including T-Mobile Germany, UK, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, U.S.A. and Netherlands.
