The Switchboard is the form that launches all the major forms for the application. It is broken up into 6 areas: People, Classes, Programs, Enrollment, Other, Support. Each area has up to 8 buttons to take you to specific forms for that area. Select an area above to view the details about that area.

The Switchboard volunteers are here to listen regardless of the reason for the call (coming out, dating, in a relationship, starting over or experiencing one of life's many unexpected twists). The GLSBLI is a service that provides the caller with the opportunity just to talk, express feelings and hopefully feel a little better by the time the call is finished.

The Switchboard has been designed to help people navigate to electronic destinations within the DNR without having to re-log in for each destination. People must log in initially... so that only the information for that person is available. The Switchboard can be configured to your own requirements, based on a Single Tier of up to 7 Departments. The Departments can be diverted to a person, or group of people, an Information Line, or a Voicemail. Smart Hunt Groups can be set up in each department.

Switchboard.com contains more than 1.5 million enhanced business listings nationwide, which include data that one would typically find about businesses in paper-based yellow pages. The new learning algorithm marries a detailed thesaurus taxonomy, based on this content, with a feedback loop that tracks which business categories Switchboard users choose against each keyword or phrase. As the system learns the paths most often chosen from keyword to structured business category, it is able to speed the user to a quality search result without the typical clutter and lack of relevance that simple keyword searches often yield.
