Sushi Pack is a children's Saturday morning cartoon that is aired on CBS' Kewlopolis animated cartoon block. It features a team of wasabi, salmon egg sushi, crab sushi, tuna sushi, and octopus sushi as they use their wits and their emotions to save the world and educate young children. The Sushi Pack team lives in a Japanese restaurant and live with humans. Despite the superhero element of the story, violence is used only as a last resort. The closing theme song of the show is a techno/rap/funk hybrid song. The lyrics of the song describes a story about a man going to a restaurant and watching his sushi come alive. Quests involve learning about the meaning of friendship, social skills, and teamwork.
The new animated series Sushi Pack follows five crime-fighting pieces of sushi that protect Wharf City from over-the-top diabolical villains. The humor-filled, action-packed television treatment for Sushi Pack was written by animation legends Tom Ruegger and Nicholas Hollander, the Emmy(R)-winning writers/producers behind such animated hits as "Animaniacs," "Tiny Toon Adventures," and "Pinky and the Brain." The series, of 52, 11-minute episodes, is being co-produced by American Greetings Properties and DIC Entertainment.
Sushi can be eaten with chopsticks or by hand; nigiri sushi in particular may be eaten by hand because the rice is packed lightly and may fall apart if eaten with chopsticks. When dipping nigiri sushi in sauce, the best method is to dip the fish, which is what the soy sauce is supposed to flavor, and not the rice, which would absorb too much soy sauce.
Go With the Glow: The Legion of Low Tide steal the city's power, causing the Sushi Pack to almost spoil. The Pack discover the Legion's plot in time and stop them cold.
