Susan felt very fortunate to meet so many wonderfully-talented writers and soon realized that her genuine interest was to work with them one-on-one and more in-depth. It became apparent that writers have to do everything for themselves. Susan discovered that the writer is required to be creative in order to write their book. They need to be good at public relations in order to get someone to publish their book. They ... must be marketing gurus to get their books in books stores and most importantly, in the hands of readers.

Susan Sullivan is a Hofstra alumna and a two-time Emmy and Golden Globe nominee. She's well known to television audiences for her starring roles in several series, including "It's a Living," "Rich Man, Poor Man," "Julie Farr M.D.," "The George Carlin Show," "The Monroes," "Dharma & Greg," "Falcon Crest" and, most recently, "Two and a Half Men" and "The Nine."

Susan Sullivan, who portrayed the pretentious Katherine Kitty Montgomery in the popular ABC comedy series, Dharma & Greg, will appear in a recurring role on ABCs Hope & Faith. Sullivan will play Dr. Nancy Lombard, a therapist who counsels Kelly Ripas character, Faith, on how to gain independence and turn her life around now that she is no longer a soap opera star. Her first appearance will be in Faiths Therapy, scheduled for Friday, November 11 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET).

On June 1, 2007, Susan Sullivan became the Director for Alumni Affairs for Oakland City University. Ms. Sullivan has been with the University for nineteen years, most recently as Director of Bachelor Programs for the School of Adult and Extended Learning. She is a graduate OCU with degrees in Management and Human Resources.

Susan began teaching at Holland Hall in 1983 as a Third Grade teacher and moved to the Second Grade in 1984. She holds a bachelor of science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University and began educating in 1976, teaching at multiple schools in Kansas and at Jenks Public School. Susan is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Tulsa, along with a founding member of S.W.A.K. (Society for the Welfare of Abused Kids), Now Family and Children Services, and a former member of the Junior Philharmonic, Habitat for Humanity, and the Ronald McDonald House. She loves to travel and has a goal to visit all 50 states and every continent! While traveling she enjoys snow skiing, hiking and snorkeling.
