When it comes to creating a universe George Lucas is the undisputed master and his final Star Wars film is good (and more appropriately rated in comparison to the two previous films in the original saga). Having recently seen Revenge of the Sith really puts this movie in perspective. The final battle seems even more climactic knowing what Anakin Skywalker went through at the manipulative hands of the Emperor. It ... makes the final battle between Luke and Vader more bitter considering the love he felt for Padmé and the love she felt for her children. Actually while the new films (especially Episode II) are inferior to the original films they are good for one reason only. They make the old films seem even better.

The third installment in the Star Wars trilogy makes its way to the Super Nintendo in the form of Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Loosely following the plot of the movie, it's up to you to guide familiar characters through 19 levels of intergalactic action as you try to lead the Rebel Alliance to victory over the Imperial Forces. Each level will call for you to take on a different role Luke, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and Wicket the Ewok and use each character's special talents to complete your mission and get out alive. You'll visit several locales borrowed straight from the movie including Jabba the Hut's palace, the forests of Endor, and the Emperor's Tower as you battle Darth Vader and his Imperial Army.

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy begins shortly after the conclusion of events in Star Wars: Jedi Outcast. Players create a Jedi apprentice character and join the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 to learn the ways of the Force under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn.
