On Super Bowl Sunday, February 3, SIRIUS will air an expanded lineup of play-by-play broadcasts of Super Bowl XLII live from University of Phoenix Stadium to its nationwide audience. SIRIUS will offer 12 individual broadcasts of the game in eight different languages. SIRIUS will provide the local flagship radio broadcasts of both the AFC Champion New England Patriots (channel 126) and NFC Champion New York Giants (channel 123) as well as the national radio broadcast on channel 124. SIRIUS subscribers can choose to follow the game in English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian, Flemish or French.

For the tenth consecutive year, the winning commercial was from Anheuser-Busch and was created by DDB Worldwide. In a four-legged redux of "Rocky," a Clydesdale is coached by a Dalmatian to earn a place on the team pulling the Budweiser wagon. The spot also was rated among the best of the game by Adweek, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
