Student Leadership supports a rich mix of activities and programs which create an atmosphere of opportunity for students to develop and practice organizational and leadership skills in a nurturing learning environment. The broad range of student activities provides a stimulating environment which enhances personal growth and fosters social and professional development. Student boards and councils, and a diverse array of standing committees provide a wide variety of outstanding leadership opportunities for Seattle Central students.
The Office of Student Activities at the College of William & Mary recognizes leadership as a vital component of a well-rounded college education. Aside from the over 400 clubs and organizations on campus in which you may be active, the office offers six specific programs for further development of your leadership skills, meet new people, and learn life-long success strategies.

Jennifer has created, presented, and facilitated hundreds of leadership development programs to students and staff at colleges and universities across the country and is proud to serve as the first Director of USF's Center for Student Leadership Development. She ... enjoys teaching courses in the Leadership Studies program at USF. Jennifer's goal is to help the entire USF community understand the power and benefits of learning, developing and practicing principles of leadership so that each person can find their capacity and desire to lead.

Students can attend LEAP for as many or as few sessions as they would like, attending a single session that peaks their interest, or dedicating one hour to their leadership development each week. Those who attend at least six sessions in one semester receive a Certificate of Achievement to honor their commitment to leadership development, and are invited to attend the certificate ceremony and reception.
