Cink was 20 when Parry asked the question, and a bit ahead of his teammates, in that he was married and had a son already. And Cink found a lot of his answer right there at home. His wife Lisa had chosen to follow Christ as a child. And she lived for Christ right in front of Stewart.

Cink never had trouble dealing with success. He could make a good shot and build a little momentum without getting carried away. But after a bad shot, he didn't know how to shake it off and feel confident he was going to follow it with a good one. That has become easier.

"The shot that I think really cost me was the second shot, not hitting it on the green," Cink said. "If I hit a decent shot there - a good 5-iron, middle of the green, maybe 20 feet - then there's suddenly a lot more pressure on Retief than there was earlier. Who knows, he may have missed the green or hit it closer than he did, but it probably would have changed the situation quite a bit."
