Created by the California Legislature in 1969, the California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) is an organization responsible for adjusting the claims of insolvent insurance carriers licensed to conduct business in the State of California. The State of California Auto Dismantlers Association (SCADA) is a statewide trade association with approximately 200 members. The California Land Title Association (CLTA) is a non-profit corporation founded in 1907, representing member title companies throughout the state of California. The Association's membership is comprised of title insurance companies and underwritten title companies conducting business in the state.
