Bei Star Wars Droids handelt es sich um ein Computerprogramm der Firma LucasLearning. Zweck des Spiels ist es mit Hilfe von selbstkonstruierten Robotern Missionen zu erfüllen. Dabei wird das Gewicht vor allem auf die mechanischen Aspekte der Roboter gelegt. Das Lösen der Probleme wird Wissen aus Technik und Physik erfordert, das auch in einem Wissenslexikon namens InDex gesucht werden kann. Um nun eine Mission erfüllen zu können, muss der konstruierte Roboter z.B. geländegängig, aber nicht zu schwer sein.

Remembered by many as the best game of Lucas Arts' 1990s series of Star Wars-based shooters, TIE Fighter cast the player as a lowly TIE pilot in the Imperial Navy. As Star Wars fans will know, TIE Fighters are fast and maneuverable but lack shields, making them a challenge for their pilots. With its atmospheric, voice-clip-heavy briefings (a big deal back in 1994) and appealing sense of gravity and seriousness, TIE Fighter (and its expansion) remains a must play for any Star Wars aficionado.

Troops: A "made for computer" film by Kevin Rubio- This is a "must have" for any Star Wars fanatic. It will take quite a while to download though, so be warned. Note: Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theater 3000 is the imperial droid that the jawas have stolen! This is very well done.

The character's back story has been fleshed out in other Star Wars media, particularly the Kevin J. Anderson edited anthology, Tales of the Bounty Hunters. 4-LOM is a protocol droid serving as a Valet and a Human/Cyborg relations specialist aboard the passenger liner Kuari Princess. In that role, he was fitted with a TranLang 3 Communications Module, giving him a knowledge of over seven million languages and forms of communication. He did well in his role as an interpreter between the rich guests aboard the Kuari Princess and the vessel's computer, and was entirely aware of the movements of the guests and their possessions.
