Graphically, Star Wars Battlefront looks really good considering how many players and vehicles are running around the map and there are explosions going off all over the place. Detail in the environments has been sacrificed in favor of more detailed characters and a steady framerate, but that is a perfectly acceptable trade off. The characters look really good and it is fun to see all of the little details on their armor. The vehicles ... look really cool and are covered with little details that fans will love. The only real problem with the graphics is that the animation is somewhat stiff, but it really isn’t that bad. Battlefront isn’t the most gorgeous looking game out there, but it has the details where they really matter and looks good overall.

Many of the vehicles in Star Wars Battlefront were deemed to be overpowered. This is because it would usually take infantry from many different classes to bring down one vehicle, something which the AI were criticized for not being able to do. This was shown particularly on the AT-AT vehicle, on which infantry weapons did negligible damage. As the AT-AT acts as a mobile command point, this caused maps with AT-ATs very hard to win as the Rebel forces.

The Star Wars Battlefront series allows you to participate in all of the greatest battles in Star Wars history from a unique perspective. In Renegade Squadron, you aren't a laser dodging, mind controlling, Tusken Raider-imitating Jedi; you're just another disposable grunt who would cut off his or her own hand with a lightsaber, given the chance.

It’s routinely taken for granted that the Star Wars movies were derived from a myriad of sources. But while Tolkienians give props to J.R.R., Campbellites cite the underlying mythical fabric spun by their idol and film buffs point to Kurosawa’s The Hidden Fortress as the true mother of Lucas’ monster, there can be no doubt that the Star Wars movies have in turn been generative of some great video games.
