   Star Trek: Enterprise (originally aired as "Enterprise"), produced from 2001–2005, is a prequel to the other Star Trek series. The pilot episode takes place ten years before the founding of the Federation and over one hundred years before the original Star Trek series .[25] The series depicts the exploration of space by the crew of the Earth starship Enterprise. Commanded by Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula), Enterprise is able to go farther and faster than any human vessel had previously gone. Enterprise shows the origins of several features that would become common in the sequel series, such as the inventing of new technologies and first contact with species such as the Klingons. For the first two seasons, Enterprise is episodic, like the original series and The Next Generation. During the third and fourth seasons, the series uses story arcs spanning several episodes at a time.

   William Shatner, who portrayed Star Trek's most iconic character, Captain James T. Kirk, is the official Celebrity Ambassador for the tour and will be making appearances at various times throughout the tour's multi-city run.    CBS Television officially announced that they will be releasing digitally remastered episodes of Star Trek, with new special effects and music -- drastically updating the look and feel of the series to contemporary standards. The retouched episodes will ... feature higher quality sound for the opening theme, and glitches in the montage will be rectified. Reports the official website: "The remastered episodes have been converted from the original film into a High-Definition format, which gives viewers a clearer, crisper, more vibrant picture than before, even when viewed in standard definition. Once stations updrage and start broadcasting HD signals, the episodes will be all ready" for that format. The plan is to start converting fan favorite episodes first, beginning with "Balance of Terror", who's story points allow the new process to be fully demonstrated.

Cromwell's nine-year first marriage to actress Anne Ulvestad ended in 1986, but not before the couple became parents three times (Kate, John, and Colin). Two years later, Cromwell wed actress Julia Cobb, herself the daughter of an actor (Lee J. Cobb), and a woman with a Star Trek connection — in the original series episode "By Any Other Name" she was young Yeoman Leslie Thompson, memorably distilled into a dodecahedron and then crushed into dust. Cobb's daughter, Rosemary Morgan, also appeared in Star Trek: Voyager as Piri, the sister of a terrorist, in "The Chute."
7. Star Trek: The Next Generation
   Star Trek: The Next Generation ran from 1987 to 1994. In 1986, Star Trek was celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Paramount approached Roddenberry in the spring with the idea of a new series, but he initially rejected the idea, not wanting to repeat the clashing with the network as with the original series. Paramount unexpectedly dropped the idea, saying that only Roddenberry could do the show right. Roddenberry changed his mind and agreed to do a new series.

In Chicago he guested in Make A Million (Johnny) opposite Jackie Coogan and on the road - from Arizona to Philadelphia - Mark Lenard (Sarek: Spock's Father) and he performed in the short plays Box and Cox (Box) and Actors (Dave). By himself, Koenig ... starred as Larry the Liquidator in Other People's Money in Reno, Nevada.
