Star Fox Command supports 6-player local wireless for multiplayer matches[7] via DS Download Play. Up to four players on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection are supported.[7] In Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection matches, only the Arwing II is available. Players score not by killing opponents, but by collecting stars from them when they have been destroyed.[4] It is ... possible to collect a star from an opponent not killed by the player. This is a modified version of the mode from Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars.

Graphically, Star Fox Command pushes the Nintendo DS to its limits, presenting clean and vivid visuals which breathe the Lylat magic and even appear vastly superior to the Nintendo 64 incarnation, Lylat Wars. The action usually runs at a smooth and steady 30 frames per second, only rarely struggling during moments of immense action. Although the advantage of two screens is obvious, the lack of a wide display effectively makes close and precise combat impossible, which, if nothing else, proves tedious and frustrating.

Star Fox Command is a DS StarFox game, released in 2006. This game ... has no on-foot elements. Nintendo have ststed on several occasions that the game is similar to the cancelled Star Fox 2.
