LYCOS RETRIEVER
Star Fox Command: Fox Mccloud

Fara Pheonix: Fara is Fox McCloud's girlfriend in the original Star Fox comic. However, Andross had mistaken her for Vixy Reinard, Fox's mother, due to wearing the wedding dress Vixy used to own. This led to a kind of confessional that enraged Fox and resulted in the discreet retreat of Andross from the battlefield.

The Black Hole, seen only in Star Fox, was caused by Andross' experiments. It is stated that Fox's father (later named James McCloud) was last seen there, and had subsequently gone missing. This explanation is contradicted in Star Fox 64 which states that McCloud was captured by Andross when sent to investigate Planet Venom with characters Pigma Dengar and Peppy Hare (which together made up the original Starfox team before that led by Fox Mcloud). The Black Hole has not appeared since Star Fox for the SNES.

"How long is it going to take Nintendo to figure out that the only thing they need to do to revitalize the flagging Star Fox franchise is to make a straightforward shooter like Star Fox 64? Although Fox McCloud and crew have never been Nintendo A-listers, they could be— it's a shame that the series consistently misses the big time due to excessive experimentation that rarely pans out. In Star Fox: Command, once again gamers get something more like a test concept instead of a fully-realized, well-polished game. In fairness, some of the new ideas applied to this anthropomorphic air force turn out fairly well, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired."

It was only a matter of time before Star Fox found its way onto the DS. Instead of being a remixed version of a classic Star Fox(the N64 version springs to mind), Star Fox Command is an original effort offering up some interesting new ideas as well as classic McCloud shooting action.
