built 395 days ago
The Stanley Cup is the most storied trophy in all of sports, and the NHL Finals went to a seventh and deciding game only 14 times, to date. This seven-disc set explores all the exciting final games, including the 1971 Montreal Canadiens' win over the Chicago Blackhawks, the 1994 New York Rangers' victory over the Vancouver Canucks, and the 2006 Carolina Hurricanes besting of the Edmonton Oilers. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
Giguere’s return to his 2003 Stanley Cup finalist form is a big reason why the Ducks lead the NHL in goal differential at 1.12. Buffalo is second at 1.03. It doesn’t take a genius to reach the conclusion that Anaheim is the better value for winning the Cup in 2007; the Ducks’ payout would be 36.8 percent higher than Buffalo’s.
The Anaheim Ducks won the National Hockey League's (NHL) Stanley Cup on Wednesday in Game 5 of the 2007 finals. The Ducks achieved a 6-2 score against the Ottawa Senators at their home stadium, Honda Center, winning the best-of-seven series while only allowing one Ottawa victory. This marks the first such championship for a California professional ice hockey team. They are the first west coast team to win the Stanley Cup since the 1925 Victoria Cougars.
