Sprites

The first sprite. Sprites are an offshoot of phylum Pixelae, and are sometimes confused with Emoticons, although they are a completely different genus. Early sprites could move only in a strait line, which hampered their ability to evolve. Later generations would grow legs, become affected by gravity, and pop balloons. At this point, the early sprites began to develop diverse and distincive forms. From the three different ships in Space Invaders to a tiny racecar to a cartoon pickle, each new form they developed was perfectly suited to the tasks their respective environments required of them. It is to these early archetypes the filthy, degenerate sprites of today owe their misbegotten lineage.
Johnny and the Sprites is a new mini show that follows Little Einstein's on Playhouse Disney. In this mini show, John Tartaglia plays Johnny, and he will sing and dance with the 'sprites'. The 'sprites' Ginger and Basil are the two sprites that join Johnny each episode. Of course Johnny is always there to sing and dance his way through the lesson with the sprites, even though he lives in the woods for solitude and inspiration. Like Playhouse Disney's other mini shows this one is a quick lesson hidden in fanciful entertainment.
Sprites have never had a system of official marriage. It is instead replaced by a biological function that bonds a couple emotionally for life. This occurs in slightly over one third of the population. Once a bond has been formed, it does not break unless one of the pair ceases to exist. While unbonded sprites have frequent and varied romantic dalliances, bonded sprites are unable to fall in love with or be attracted to anyone but their mate. Children of unbonded couples are never considered illegitimate, and the offspring of both bonded and unbonded couples are raised communally by the families in their village.
Besides having methods for adding, removing and accessing the Sprites in the collection, SpriteCollection has methods for enabling events on the Sprites it contains. For example, the SpriteCollection.EnableMouseButtonEvent() allows all the sprites in the collection to respond to mouse button clicks. Once the event is fired, the SpriteCollection passes the event and EventArgs to each sprite.
The Sprites in this Red team will pick up the eggs, wool, and milk from your livestock. They ... will put fodder in the feed bins if your animals are inside of the barns. The Sprites seem to only collect Small Milk from the cows and Large Wool from the Sheep. When you rescue 7 or more Red sprites they will also begin to harvest the crops you are growing in your main farm field.

A Sprite beats up a schoolgirl Despite the vast differences in their myriad native Environments, Sprites have developed a vestigial form of civilization, and there exist digital realms where sprites live in a state relatively free of the constant savagery that characterizes their species. Usually these complacent creatures will stand in the same spot, and repeat some useless anecdote or idiotic "clue." Still others blather on and on about some kingdom, prophecy, or what have you, before going out and killing other sprites in the countryside. But for the most part, any true "culture" is reflected only in the placement and coloration of those little squares. They can be said to be "Tribal" at best.
