1. Manele -- Pacific Ocean
   The spectacular natural setting of The Challenge at Manele guarantees an unforgettable round for every golfer who plays here. 2. Fireworks (Pyrotechnic) -- Colors
   Light and color production in fireworks is no different than the glowing of metal loops when placed in a flame. A mixture of a fuel and oxidizing agent produces intense heat that makes metal flakes glow. Different colors are produced by using salts of different metals. Sometimes, magnesium is ... used, its oxidation producing dazzling sparks. Pellets comprising fuel, oxidizer, and metal flakes are called “stars.” These are arranged in specific shapes in an explosive-packed shell. When the shell explodes, the “stars” get distributed in the sky and produce spectacular patterns of light and color.
3. Grand Canyon National Park -- World
   Grand Canyon National Park contains some of the most interesting trails in the national park system. Some are extremely challenging and even dangerous,while others require less effort but afford access to some of the most interesting and spectacular scenery in the world.
4. Peter Gabriel -- Robert Fripp
   In November, Peter Gabriel will undertake an American tour with European dates to follow next year. The show will be produced in conjunction with Robert Le Page, who helped create the Secret World Live tour, and the results promise to be equally spectacular.
5. Moulin Rouge -- Satine
   Christian, a young Bohemian poet living in 1899 Paris, defies his father by joining the colorfully diverse clique inhabiting the dark, fantastical underworld of Paris'' now legendary Moulin Rouge. In this seedy but glamorous haven of sex, drugs and newly-discovered electricity, the poet-innocent finds himself plunged into a passionate but ultimately tragic love affair with Satine, the club''s highest paid star and the city''s most famous courtesan. Their romance is played out against the infamous club -- a meeting place of high and low, where slumming aristocrats and the fashionably rich mingle with workers, artists, bohemians, actresses and courtesans.
6. Great Rift Valley -- Earths
   Believed to be the birthplace of coffee, the Great Rift Valley is ... home to the beans making up this distinct blend. Formed out of explosive earthquake and volcanic activity, this coffee brings to mind the intensity of its origin.
7. Quails -- Miscellaneous
   Season the quails with salt and pepper (if the quails have undergone koshering, do not salt) and into the cavity of each bird place one of the apple quarters. Tie with cooking thread.
8. Rainbow -- Miscellaneous
   The most spectacular rainbow displays happen when half of the sky is still dark with draining clouds and the observer is at a spot with clear sky in the direction of the Sun. The result is a luminous rainbow that contrasts with the darkened background.
9. Guadalupe Mountains National Park -- Mckittrick Canyon
   The Guadalupe Mountains are a study in contrasts and many of the park's most spectacular places are hidden and difficult to access. Viewed from the surrounding desert the mountains look sere and forbidding giving little indication of the lush forests that fill "the Bowl" or the spectacular scenery that awaits a hiker in McKittrick or Dog Canyons. It is the intent of the National Park Service to keep the Guadalupes as wild and undelveloped as possible, indeed some areas are currently strictly off limits due to the fragile nature of the local ecology. It takes effort, but the Guadalupe Mountains offer the determined hiker a spectacular, hidden wilderness that is unique among America's National Parks.
10. Tang Dynasty -- New Tang Dynasty Television
    Two of the channels, New Tang Dynasty Television out of New York and the Phoenix North America Chinese channel, will be in Chinese. Both are mainly in Mandarin but will ... carry shows in other Chinese dialects. Phoenix North America, which will be a service of a Hong Kong-based company, provides news and entertainment from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and other Asian Pacific countries, primarily for North American audiences. The applicants had argued that Mandarin speakers in Canada are underserved. Competitors such as Fairchild TV had lobbied against more Chinese-language channels. More than 600 people wanted the CRTC to approve two additional channels in Portuguese.
