Depending on which of the six backgrounds the user displays, they can select from five to ten different fish to inhabit their Goldfish Aquarium, or the tanks can be set to randomly change species automatically. The fish can be viewed from a side-view or from the top down as though looking into a private goldfish pond. Bonus features allow the user to view the Goldfish Aquarium with the fish swimming in silhouette within a darkened tank or in wire frame mode for a "behind the scenes" look at computer-generated fish and backgrounds.

These mountain-prairie species are addressed in the attached table. All priority 3 species in the Mountain-Prairie Region would be addressed AFTER species with a priority of 1 and 2. As you can see, there are two species with a priority rating of 3. These are being addressed presently as they are part of a settlement agreement reached on a lawsuit involving many species. Once the species ranked priority 1 and 2 (and those two involved in a lawsuit) are addressed, the Region can start working on those with a listing priority of 3.

Some philosophers think that Hull and Ghiselin too quickly dismiss the assumption that species are natural kinds. Kitcher (1984) believes that species are sets of organisms. Thinking of species as sets is an ontologically neutral stance. It allows that some species are spatiotemporally restricted sets of organisms, that is, individuals. And it allows that other species are spatiotemporally unrestricted sets of organisms.
