sth.gif Sonic Sonic the Hedgehog is a fast-paced action adventure comic like no other. With a massive cast featuring characters from videogames, cartoons and Archie-inspired creations, this comic literally has unlimited possibilities. Plenty of action, romance and intrigue are the norm for Sonic, as he and the Freedom Fighters, his buddies Tails, Knuckles, and the mysterious Shadow must battle the forces of evil. Villains abound in this dangerous world from the eternal Mammoth Mogul, mystical Dr. Finitevus, evil double Scourge the Hedgehog, and plenty more, including the ultimate baddie, Dr. Robotnik, a.k.a. Eggman!
Blaze the Cat is a pyrokinetic princess from another dimension, brought to Sonic's world due to a rip in the space-time continuum.[40][41] Blaze made her first appearance in Sonic Rush. At first, the other characters suggest she should seek Sonic's help - Blaze denies this and wonders why they are so dependent on him. However, through working with Sonic in order to save the universe from Eggman and Eggman Nega, Blaze learns the value of friendship, and before she goes back to her own dimension, she promises to meet him again. This promise is kept when Sonic ended up in her dimension. However, later it is revealed that Sonic wasn't the only one who made it there, that Eggman was ... in Blaze's dimension and once again working together with Eggman Nega to obtain a power that could destroy the entire universe and create 'Eggmanland'. Working together, Sonic and Blaze saved the universe once more.

An artist's rendering of the Holy Trinity of the Hedgehog entering Earth. Coooool. There is also another one in there. Some suspect it is Jim Carrey. After some insignificant events during the documentary "Sonic the Hedgehog", better known as "Sonic '06", a blue Shadow clone with no nose - believed to be a sign of superior power - performed the hadouken and killed Sonic immediately. This occured only after Sonic and his friends tried to destroy the space time continuum and most of Stephen Hawkin's science books by traveling into the future and back into the past so many times even Eggman couldn't be bothered to follow them. The shadow clone then decided to escape the police by turning into some sort of crystal pimp. This did not work, and he was killed when the real Shadow put a bullet through his head. After questing for the Dragonballs, Tails was able to resurrect Sonic using the balls and a fine selection of cheese. Despite his status as a god, this has led many fanboys to believe that Sonic is the reincarnation of Black Jesus, when he is actually Black Jesus' Great-Great Uncle.
Transforming into Shadow's image, Mephiles flings Shadow and Rouge to a devastated future where they meet up with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, who were sent to the future by Eggman. They return to the past, whilst Shadow remains to confront Mephiles. Rouge finds Omega and orders him to wait in time to deliver a Chaos Emerald to Shadow in the future. Back in the future, Shadow is told that humans will betray him, but refuses to join Mephiles, who transforms into his second form and a battle ensues. Omega joins him and defeats Mephiles, who flees to the past. The two return to the present and meet up with Rouge.

Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie took place on a planet known as "Planet Freedom." During the course of the movie, it is explained that the world is split into two dimensions: The Land of the Sky, which is home to Sonic and his friends, and the Land of Darkness, where Dr. Eggman resides. It is heavily implied that this planet is in fact a future Earth.
