Snoopy Tennis

Graphically, Snoopy Tennis is fantastic. While other sports games for Game Boy Color contain small, unidentifiable players with choppy movement, the characters in this game are large and well-defined, and move to and from the ball very fluidly. Furthermore, neat animation additions include a net ripple when the ball makes contact and an impression mark on the court every time the ball bounces. The on-court colors are great and provide great contrasts between the ball, the surface and the players. In regular modes of the play, the four choices of courts -- the beach, the school yard, the backyard, and the forest -- are each unique and use an alternate court surface. However, unlike actual tennis, the ball doesn't bounce any differently on the different surfaces.

Snoopy Tennis Wristwatch You get two Snoopy Tennis watches for one low price! The background of these stem-wind analog watches has a "bluejean's look": Snoopy is the center view; his one arm is the hour hand; the tennis racket in his other hand is the minute hand; and a tennis ball "floats" around the outside serving as the second hand. Both watches look fairly good, as does the Speidel expansion band on the one watch. Both would need polished, but are wearable as is.
Five different modes of play are available in Snoopy's Tennis. The most basic is the Normal mode, which is standard play and regular advantage system scoring. Power Mode, which is available in singles play, gives users the opportunity to collect power-ups from around the court. The power-up icons, which can let the user win the point immediately or have the tennis ball pause in midair, are instantly activated after being collected. While most power-ups help the human-controlled player, some need to be avoided.

The sculpture of Charlie Brown and Snoopy will be unveiled at 11 a.m. March 3 at Depot Park in Santa Rosa's historic Railroad Square, located at 4th and Wilson streets along the west side of Highway 101 at the downtown exit. The event will be held rain or shine. After the dedication, the Railroad Square Merchants Association will provide free root beer and chocolate chip cookies.
Snoopy Tennis 2 You are snoopy. You move up and down the tree so to hit any balls advancing towards you. If any ball should pass you, you lose 1 of 3 lives. The aim is to hit ALL the balls, no matter how intense it gets!
Nine courts are available to play on including Snoopy's Backyard, the beach, the school bus, and several more from the actual Pro Tennis Circuit. In normal mode, only the four courts inspired by the comic strip are available to play, while the pro courts are used in the other competitions. On the court, users have the option of using basic in-game controls or advanced controls.
