In 2004, Snoop appeared on the Showtime series The L Word as the character "Slim Daddy", a portmanteau of Slim Shady and Puff Daddy. He ... notably played the drug dealer-turned-informant character of Huggy Bear, in the 2004 remake film of the 1970s TV-series of the same name, Starsky & Hutch. He also appeared as himself in an episode of the Showtime series "Weeds." He also made an appearance on the hit TV shows Entourage and Monk in July 2007.

On Feb. 1 and Feb. 2, Budweiser and Bud Light will stage two of the area's must-see "One Night Stand" concerts at Axis/Radius, featuring Snoop Dogg and Kid Rock. To attend the concerts, adult consumers 21 and older must have invitations, which can be obtained through Budweiser promotions in area bars, clubs and restaurants and through radio station giveaways. There will be no tickets or invitations available to the block parties on those evenings. Gates will open each evening at 8 p.m.

Martin Shore of Social Capital and Christopher Tuffin of BloodWorks, as well as Ted Chung, McHugh and Sullivan, served as producers. Gordon Steel and John Baca of The Steel Company served as executive producers, in addition to Snoop Dogg. The anime sequences were produced by Japan’s Madhouse, known for such classics as ANIMATRIX and TOKYO HUNTER, under the Direction of Academy Award®-winner John Gaeta, known for his work on the MATRIX trilogy. This film is rated R for pervasive strong violence and gore, sexuality, nudity and language.

The incident happened after Snoop Dogg and his crew were told by the airline they would not be permitted to board a flight to Johannesburg, South Africa, Scotland Yard said. As police tried to direct the group to baggage reclaim, they became "abusive and pushed officers," according to Scotland Yard. The seven police officers received minor injuries, including cuts and bruises, and one suffered a fractured hand.
