Smoking
built 223 days ago
Smoking and the sale of tobacco products may be permitted in designated food-service areas and lounges in accordance with the policies of that facility. Designated smoking areas must be well posted and have adequate ventilation and separation for nonsmokers. Designated smoking areas must be reviewed and approved by the Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S). Any disputes regarding the recommendations of EH&S will be referred to the vice chancellor for administration for resolution.

Smoking is a form of moral decadence. It is most spread among the low-class immoral people. It reflects blind imitation of the non-Muslims. It is mostly consumed in bars, discos, casinos, and other: places of sin. A smoker may beg or steal if he does not have the money to buy cigarettes. He is ill-mannered with his friends and family, especially when he misses taking his necessary "dose" at the usual time.

smoking at party Smoking has a nasty effect on nutrition too. Smokers break down vitamin C twice as fast as nonsmokers. Vitamin C is believed to be one of the most powerful antioxidants for humans. Other vitamins and nutrients that the body needs are ... depleted by smoking.

Smoking can deplete Vitamin C and B Vitamins. Vitamin B Complex 50 is necessary in cellular enzyme systems which are often damaged in smokers. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant needed to protect cells and organs from damage by smoke. St.Johns Wort Extract helps promote a positive mood and healthy emotional balance. Slippery Elm can cause mucous secretion which helps soothe sore throats. Smoking induces reduction of bone density, which increases the risk of osteoporosis.

Smoking refers to the action of lighting a cigarette, a pipe, a cigar, a water pipe, or any other object made from tobacco or materials of similar effects. The object is then sucked on with the lips to extract smoke. This smoke is inhaled into the chest and then exhaled from the nose and mouth as a thick white smoke. "Smoking" is now used to refer to the action of producing this smoke in English, Arabic, and other languages.

Smoking in most workplaces could soon be banned in Tennessee, a state with a long history of producing tobacco, the New York Times reported on March 12. Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen has proposed the indoor-smoking ban as well as tripling the current cigarette tax to help pay for smoking-prevention programs. The smoking ban has won support from the Tennessee House speaker and the Senate president, as well as the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Bredesen said he proposed the ban because he felt the time was right. The harmful effects of smoking are well documented, he said, and tobacco's declining clout in the state has now made it possible. "What's exciting here is that we're seeing more activity in what is traditionally tobacco country," said Annie Tegen of Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights.
