In the years following the passing of Slim Dusty, rumours emerged that the family would create a musical tribute. As the pressure grew, so did the expectations. But then the "Dustys" are no ordinary family - as they've now proven with the release of the Reunion.

In the book of their life together, co-authored by Slim and his wife, Joy McKean, Slim wrote: "My parents' marriage was not a success. They were too different. If Dad went to Kempsey he'd get on the tear sometimes. They had some flaming rows and the old saucepans got a good work-out.

As Slim already had solid plans in place for that release, "Winton", as it's become known by fans, was shelved. Now it is finally available, and included is his latest version of "Waltzing Matilda", in an arrangement closest to his incredible Olympic Closing Ceremony performance.
