Z Force was added in 1985 The park was planning on building a launched coaster, similar to the rides at Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags St. Louis themed to the Batman villain Mr. Freeze. The project was cancelled due to numerous problems with the operation of the original rides, and Camp Cartoon Network kids area was built instead.
Mr. Freeze -- The Coolest Coaster on the Planet continues Six Flags' dazzling partnership with Warner Bros. and its entertainment properties. This new coaster marks the first time Six Flags Over Texas has opened a ride in conjunction with a new Warner Bros. film release. The popular Batman series has spawned some of Six Flags' most creative and innovative attractions, such as Batman - The Ride and thrilling stunt spectaculars based on blockbuster Batman movie magic.
