West Coast Singers is the third oldest gay & lesbian, mixed-voice chorus in the nation. The chorus consists of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and heterosexual men and women who enjoy singing and the camaraderie of a community chorus. The chorus strives to achieve musical excellence and entertain audiences, as well as promote understanding, healing, and cooperation within the greater Los Angeles community.

The Society of Singers was founded in 1984 by Chairman Emeritus Ginny (Mrs. Henry) Mancini and Gilda Maiken Anderson.
