The Singer pistol you have was the first tool=made sample to be manufactured. Originally, the pistol had no finish but before presenting it to Mr. Peets, the pistol was polished and blued in our own toolroom. To the best of my knowledge, this was the only pistol to leave the factory with that finish.

Singer wurde als einer der vielen Fahrradhersteller in Coventry gegründet. Ab 1901 baute man Motor-Dreiräder und Motorräder. 1905 wurde der erste vierrädrige Wagen in Lizenz von Lea-Francis hergestellt, der einen 3-Zylinder-Motor mit 1400 cm³ Hubraum besaß. Der erste von Singer entworfene Wagen war der 12/14 hp mit 2,4 Liter - 4-Zylinder-Motor von 1906. Der Motor wurde von Aster bezogen. 1907 gab man das Lea-Francis-Design auf und bot eine Reihe von 2-, 3- und 4-Zylindermodellen mit Motoren von White and Poppe an. Die Modelle mit Aster-Motoren wurden 1909 aufgegeben und eine neue Baureihe von größeren Wagen eingeführt.

For the Singer family, that's two ACL injuries in two years. Ashley's younger sister, Kelsey, ripped up her knee at nearly the same time last year to end her freshman campaign. Kelsey tried to give it a go this season but was forced to stop playing after the knee gave out one too many times in a JV game at Catasauqua.
