The Simcopter was designed, constructed and piloted by David Dobbins in Guadalajara, Mexico. He flew his creation to a height of 5 feet on August 15 1957 according to the local newspaper "El Occidental".

SimCopter's team earned a Nobel prize for their efforts in graphical morphing. They made the discovery that typing in a few words, pressing Enter, and holding down Shift, could make a random helicopter pilot change into a dog in a matter of seconds! Who could have thought it?
