Shadowrun'[S] story begins on January 31, 2058 in Seattle, UCAS. In the wilderness of the newly reclaimed Amerindian lands of the Salish-Shidhe, a small team of shadowrunners is brutally ambushed by unknown forces. The massacre is over quickly, but is captured in video by one of the slain member's cybereyes; the video is recovered and made national news. The last man to die in the video was a shadowrunner known as Michael, Joshua's brother.

Shadowrun's back. Ok, sure, it's not what all the Shadowrun diehards were looking for, and it's not exactly the kind of thing that comes to mind when you think of pen and paper RPG licenses. But Shadowrun is out to change the way you play team-based first-person shooters.

Major League Gaming held their Shadowrun championship tournament in Las Vegas this past weekend. EnragedGnome and his team (Secret Weapon) were disappointed to only finish 3rd after having a very strong team. First place (and $8000) went to TsK and second place went to StK.

If you frequented the official Shadowrun forums, they are planning a new place where people can meet in an off-Microsoft type property. Honestly, given that most games have digressed to a chaotic free-for-all (with a fair share of team killing to boot), and troll katana has become absurdly unbalanced, it pains me to say that you might be better off just saying bye for good.
