The journey in Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent Isle is a strange one. Being an Avatar is never supposed to be easy and the game forces you to make really difficult decisions about morality. It only seems fitting that the end of the game foretells the Avatar's plunge into a bizarre new realm that almost seems like punishment for straying from the virtuous path. Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent Isle was released in 1993. While the Avatar destroys the Black Moongate that the Guardian was coming through, Batlin flees to Serpent Isle. The Warriors of Destiny pursue the rogue fanatic and find a strange land that has many very different customs than Britannia: a large, icy island, only lately recolonized by men, with many remains of an ancient culture where serpents played a central role.

This project is an effort to translate Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent Isle completely to French. Note that a French translation for its predecessor, The Black Gate, was released by Origin/EA in 1992. The project is nearly complete - only the proofreading needs to be finished. This patch requires Exult.
