Further indications of the connections of both the Saudi ruling family and the Pakistani military and intelligence apparatus with the September 11 hijackers have surfaced with the publication of the book “Why America Slept,” by Gerald Posner. That Posner’s thesis is taken seriously within ruling circles was made clear by a two-page review published in the September 8 issue of Time magazine.

Thomas J. Usher was born on September 11, 1942, in Reading, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh to study industrial engineering. He received his bachelor's degree in 1964 and a master's degree in operations research the following year. On August 14, 1965, he married Sandra L. Mort. That same year he went to work as an industrial engineer in the Pittsburgh headquarters of U.S. Steel. A decade later he was transferred from Pittsburgh to U.S. Steel's South Works in Chicago.

The McKinney 9/11 Memorial will take place on September 11th, 2007 at 9am at the McKinney Public Safety Building on Taylor-Burk Drive. The memorial will feature speeches from McKinney Police Chief Doug Kowalski, McKinney Fire Chief Mark Wallace and Mayor Pro Tem Thad Helsley as well as bagpipers and a 21-gun salute. The public is invited to attend.

Marriott's 2004 fourth quarter covers the 16-week time period from September 11, 2004 through December 31, 2004, compared to the 2003 fourth quarter which ran from September 13, 2003 to January 2, 2004. Mr. Arne Sorenson, Marriott International's executive vice president, chief financial officer, and president -- continental European lodging, will discuss the company's 2004 fourth quarter and full year results as well as its business outlook for 2005.

To this day there has been no truthful disclosure concerning the government’s knowledge of and response to the September 11 attacks. No one has been held accountable for what would on the surface appear to be the most catastrophic intelligence failure in US history.
