Seattle Seahawks offensive assistant coach Gary Reynolds, left, talks with quarterback Charlie Frye (5) and other players as they go over scout-team plays during Frye's first football workout with the team Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, in Kirkland, Wash. In two days, Frye went from starting for Cleveland to scout-team quarterback in Seattle. Frye, a veteran of 19 NFL starts, has no choice but to accept his unprecedented trade to the Seahawks Tuesday--and to accept being in a sort of QB rehab under the watch of offensive guru Mike Holmgren. The Seattle Seahawks head to Arizona for a Week 2 divisional game with some new players as their shifting roster continues to be reshaped. Veteran defensive end Bryce Fisher was shipped to Tennessee for an undisclosed draft choice and quarterback Charlie Frye was obtained from Cleveland for a sixth-round pick.

The Seattle Seahawks are happy with Ben Obomanu, a seventh-round pick in 2006. He will likely make his season debut Sunday at Arizona after missing the season opener because of a hamstring injury.
This 2007 photo released by the NFL shows Seattle Seahawks defensive end Bryce Fisher. Fisher, benched by Seattle after starting for two seasons, was traded to the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007. Charlie Frye is coming to the Seattle Seahawks, he just won't be taking a job away from Matt Hasselbeck or Seneca Wallace. Frye was acquired from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday, but not because they wanted him to be a primary backup to starting quarterback Hasselbeck. It was because Frye was one of the few veterans available who might fit Seattle's needs for roster depth.
