In his first full season driving in the Busch series, Wimmer is 12th in the race for the championship and second to Biffle in the race for the Raybestos Rookie of the Year award. He was 15th in Friday's Autolife FRAM 250 race at Richmond International Raceway.

Wimmer, 31, has spent this season taking turns in RCR's Nos. 29 and 21 NASCAR Busch Series teams. Last weekend in Dover, Del., he had his best run of the year, running as high as second before getting a third-place finish.
