With the exception of Alumni and Diversity Scholarships, a student may not receive more than one MSU scholarship. Students are awarded the highest scholarship for which they qualify and for which funds are available. If funds are exhausted in one category, applicants will be considered for scholarships in another qualifying category. Changes in eligibility criteria and value of scholarships reflected in this document are effective with the fall semester of 2008 and are not retroactive to scholarships awarded for previous school years or semesters.

Scholarship seats are limited. The mentioned percentages are only the eligibility to apply for scholarship. Candidates securing above percentages are required to fill Amity Application form. In absence of relevant mark sheets direct admission and scholarship application will not be considered. Final decision of granting scholarship is with the scholarship committee.

The scholarship recipients were selected by Reliant Energy and the Houston Texans. Each recipient had to be in good academic standing and display leadership and ethics to be considered for the scholarship.

A bill signed by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson on Thursday is designed to extend the life of the lottery scholarship fund, which has been projected to run out of money in the next few years. Senate Bill 364, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Michael Sanchez, D-Belen, will require that more money from lottery sales goes to the scholarship fund, and less to administration.

International students who have completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia and who have a tertiary entrance score can apply for a scholarship and will be considered alongside other applicants. The value of the scholarship will be deducted from the international fees.
