Apparently, only the R-rated version is available on DVD (it's surprising that the option to view the unrated version wasn't included). Additionally, the DVD is sorely lacking in any sort of substantial extras — a commentary with Christofer and/or Jolie would have been worthwhile and, since the film [I]s based on a true story, some additional information on the source subject (such as the TV interview Gia gave, claiming to be drug-free when in reality she was shooting up only minutes before) seems to be in order. - John Sayles
