SAW proudly sponsors the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest (MASC) each year. MASC, which is one of the longest-running contests in the nation and which attracts entries from around the world, offers amateur songwriters an opportunity to enter their songs in a wide variety of categories. Prizes are awarded to the first and second place (gold and silver) winners in each category, with a panel of music industry professionals choosing three top prize winners from among those entries. All category winners are invited to perform their winning songs at the Awards Gala held in Washington, D.C. in November, culminating with the three top winners being announced that night. The top songs from each category are compiled and released on a "Winner's CD," copies of which are given to each winner and distributed to a variety of music industry decision-makers. The entry deadline for MASC is mid-June, with entry forms available from SAW's website (or you can request one by mail) in early April.

Indiana drivers saw a similar pattern at the pump with an annual average of $2.59 in 2007 -- $.07 cents higher than last year's average. Indiana's highest price, $3.49, was recorded on May 26, 2007. That's $1.54 higher than the lowest price, $1.95, recorded Jan. 24, 2007.

This witness saw a living ET three years after the famous crash in New Mexico in 1947. In 1950, this witness, who was at a military facility on the east coast, saw a four to five foot tall ET being who was being held in a cage in a guarded bunker. Apparently the ET was being transported to a facility for study. This witness, who is highly credible, states that he learned that this ET was the sole remaining living being from the Roswell crash in July of 1947. The ET had a larger than human head, and was yellow-gray in color. The ET was in a small cage and under armed guard.

The Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) is an air-cooled, belt-fed, gas-operated automatic weapon that fires from the open-bolt position. It has a regulator for selecting either normal (750 rounds per minute [rpm)) or maximum (1,000 rpm) rate of fire. The maximum rate of fire is authorized only if the weapon's firing rate slows under adverse conditions. Although the M249 AR is primarily used as an automatic rifle, it is ... used as a light machine gun. It can be fired from the shoulder, hip, or underarm position; or from the bipod-steadied position. When employed as a machine gun, it has a tripod with a T&E mechanism and a spare barrel; however, barrels must not be interchanged with those from other M249s unless the headspace has been set for that weapon by direct support personnel.
