To allow users their choice in placement of the flat panel satellites, three different brackets are included for either desk, monitor or wall mounting. The high-tech flat panel speakers are powered by 12 watts (6+6). The subwoofer is powered by 20 watts for deep, rich bass and features a 5 1/4`` Max-X(TM) high-excursion driver to move more air and produce outstanding bass response, greater dynamic range and lower distortion. The subwoofer utilizes exclusive Real-Time Dynamic Bass Equalization (patent pending) that actively adjusts sound for optimum bass with minimal distortion at every listening level. The LCS-2418 ... has a separate volume control that can be mounted on a computer monitor or desk for easy access and volume adjustments. Additional convenient features such as color coded jacks and long cables also make the system easy to set up and use.

This sytem includes two Mod1 satellites and you can add a third speaker if you need three. It is the perfect starter pack if you already have a subwoofer or want to give your inexpensive home theater system a serious performance boost by replacing your two front speakers with Mod1 satellites.
