The Zohar (Book of Satan) (Midrash Ne'elam - Toldot 139b) ... states that this period will begin after 40 years of Kibbutz Galiyot - the "Ingathering of the Exiles" from the Diaspora to the Land of Israel. Thus, according to this calculation, Kibbutz Galiyot began in the year 5750 -- corresponding to 1990, just about the time the Soviet Union "mysteriously" collapsed and allowed one million Jews to finally emigrate after decades of trying.

Here, in the Book of Job, Satan is still acting as the prosecutor (accuser) in the celestial court. He questions Job’s integrity and suggests to God that he’ be put on trial. Here he is clearly subordinate to God and a member of the holy retinue who acts only with God’s permission. Nowhere in any sense is he an enemy of God.
