Saruman: Grima Wormtounge
built 276 days ago
It would have been more honorable if Tim Curry played Grima; Tim Curry would hiss while showing off his teeth at team Gandalf this is where staffless Saruman will yell, "Get the Caa" at Tim Curry then slap him. This is when Tim Curry stares down at Team Gandalf and says "they all flllooooaaat up here"; this is when Merry will throw a rock at Tim Curry's head, who's already on the ledge of the tower. When Tim Curry is about to fall off, he grabs Saruman's arm and says, "You'll float too"

For his foul deeds Saruman got an awful death – Grima sprang on him and sliced his throat. Saruman’s spirit rose from his body like smoke from a fire, looked toward the West, and disappeared with the wind.
Saruman: His love of machines finally caught up with him: was pushed into a prototype steam powered forrest clearer by Grima. Treebeard later used his body as fertilizer to help trees grow again in Isengard.

[T]he Lord of the Nazgul came to Isengard, sent by Sauron who was aware that Saruman had captured Gandalf. There are differing accounts of this visit. By one account, the Nazgul came two days after Gandalf's escape and Saruman used his Voice to persuade the Lord of the Nazgul that he did not know the Ring's location but that Gandalf did and they should seek him nearby. The Nazgul did so and instead found Grima, who revealed that Saruman was hiding his knowledge of the Shire from them. According to another account, Saruman only discovered that Gandalf had escaped when the Nazgul arrived, but he pretended that Gandalf was still there and had just told him the location of the Shire. The Nazgul later learned from the squint-eyed Southerner that Saruman knew far more than he had revealed.

As Jackson has said, the "death of Saruman" scene has been confirmed for the DVD. A while back, there was a lot of talk about his death coming from a fall where he would be impaled on a spike. This... has been challenged, as now Jackson has said that the death will take place at the hands of Grima Wormtounge, which leads me to believe that some sort of "scouring of the shire" scene will take place in the extended cut of RotK, as that description of the death closer fits the one from the book.
