Born on April 14, 1977, Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of the famous American actresses. She was inclined towards acting right since her childhood. Sarah caught the attention of an agent in a restaurant in Uptown Manhattan, when she was just four years old and was called for an audition for the TV movie ‘An Invasion of Privacy’. She cleared the audition, and got a role in the movie.

She was featured in Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" list in 2002, 2003, and 2005, and in FHM 's "100 Sexiest Women" of 2005. She was voted number 1 in the magazine's 1999 edition. In 1998, she was named one of People's "50 Most Beautiful People (in the World)". Gellar has appeared in "Got Milk?" ads as well as in the Stone Temple Pilots music video "Sour Girl". In 2007, she was ranked #54 on FHM Hot 100 List and was a celebrity spokesperson for Maybelline. She was on the cover of the December 2007 issue of Maxim magazine and was named Maxim magazine's 2008 Woman of the Year.[14]
Sarah acted throughout her childhood taking on roles in the Funny Farm, TV Series Spenser for Hire, and Crossbow. She attended the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in New York before switching to the Professional Children's School ... attended by fellow actors Tara Reid, Macaulay Culkin, and Jerry O’Connell, who she dated briefly in 1988. Sarah did well in school, maintaining an A-average and enjoying her extra-curricular activities which included figure skating. She became a competitive figure skater.
Returning to TV, Sarah gained her first substantial role when she was cast as Teenage Jacqueline Bouvier in the award winning NBC mini-series A Woman Named Jackie (1991). She next was seen in the starring role as Sydney Orion Rutledge, alongside Mira Sorvino, in the short-lived television drama Swans Crossing (1992).
Gellar then attended New York's Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School. The same year she had her third TV role as Emily in an episode of the TV series Spenser: For Hire, starring Robert Urich. She had a small part in Chevy Chase's Funny Farm, and filmed in Europe for the TV series Crossbow, based on William Tell.
