Legends connect Sarah's death with the sacrifice of Isaac [8], there being two versions of the story. According to one, Samael came to her and said: "Your old husband seized the boy and sacrificed him. The boy wailed and wept; but he could not escape from his father." Sarah began to cry bitterly, and ultimately died of her grief [9]. According to the other legend, Satan, disguised as an old man, came to Sarah and told her that Isaac had been sacrificed. She, believing it to be true, cried bitterly, but soon comforted herself with the thought that the sacrifice had been offered at the command of God.

Sarah is currently completing her debut album produced by international jazz star, Gilad Atzmon and recorded at London's Eastcote Studios. She will be performing with Gilad & her regular band to support the album release throughout 2008.

No further reference to Sarah is found in the Hebrew canon, except in Isa. Ii. 2, where the prophet appeals to his hearers to "look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you."

The accompanying picture shows Sarah shortly after she won the Eppie for the best electronically published historical in 2003. This award is given by EPIC (Electronic Publishing Internet Connection), a group of writers and publishers who are interested in promoting electronic publishing.
