Alexander Walter Barr "Sandy" Lyle, MBE (born 9 February 1958) is a Scottish golfer. Along with Nick Faldo and Ian Woosnam, he became one of Britain's top golfers during the 1980s. He spent 167 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Rankings from their debut in 1986 to 1989.[1]
