Former teen movie star Sandra Dee has died at 63 in California. While the cause of death was not immediately released, the actress had reportedly been treated for kidney disease and pneumonia.

Donahue was the male equivalent of Dee. Both were bovine looking, blond, very suburban. They went surfing a lot, posed in their bathing suits and never engaged in premarital sex. Ironically, in private Donahue, a homosexual, was just as manipulated as Dee and finally succumbed to decades of alcoholism before his death in 2001.
