It could have been a scene from the days of the San Francisco dot-com boom: Representatives of video-sharing site CashTomato.com tried to give away money and tomatoes to passersby in a publicity stunt over the weekend. Academy of Art University Fine Art alumna Sylvia Ji is profiled following her first solo show at the White Walls Gallery in San Francisco. Just after graduating from the Academy, Ji’s career blossomed after meeting a network of local artists who were impressed with her beautiful paintings of women.
